5very good resource, easy to use, highly recommend...  Jul 14, 2008
We've used a different CD based system for French & this book/CD set "Learn Italian the Fast and Fun Way by Marcel Danesi & Barron's is FAR BETTER. It's simple to follow. I think the CD only systems are too difficult to follow & you need something in print that follows audio. This book is the coursework for a Italian class we're taking by a native of Italy & she said it's 99% correct.

4Learn Italian the Fast and Fun Way  Jun 18, 2008
Very easy to follow with exercises that are fun and entertaining. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn the conversational language.

2parts missing  May 01, 2008
Just gotten the book. On page 5 their is a short test. Using the words given on the left their is space on the right to write in the word in English. That is great if I knew Italian, the word valige is no where to be found in the book.

5Defintly recommended if you want to learn basic Italian!  Apr 23, 2008
Great book. Ihad it about 4 years ago when I was taking lessons and misplaced it. Bought it again prior to traveling to Italy..Great book!

5Best Italian tutorial I've used  Apr 23, 2008
I am studying this book right now in prep for a trip to Italy in June. The dialogues, highlighted phrases, and variety of activities are GREAT fun for the casual Italian speaker. If you follow the lessons in the order given, 15 minutes a day, you WILL be able to make yourself understood in Italian within a couple of months.
