it's exactly the bag i need for short workout / hiking / bike outings. the water bottle isn't that big, only 16 oz or so. if you plan to be out for more than a few hours, imho this won't be enough.

the material for the pouch itself is water resistant, and seems / feels sturdy enough to last for a while. however the buckles are all plastic, and a bit on the thin / fragile side. zippers are also all plastic, so treat it genteelly. an odd design choice had the key ring in the same compartment as the mp3 player, which means unless your mp3 player is fully covered with screen protectors and whatnot, it'll get all scratched up by the keys. like i said, odd design choice.

personally i wouldn't pay for this bag at its full asking price due to the list of problems above. but if you ever find this on sale, even with said short comings, it's still quite a bargain.

I wear this when I go bike riding and it fits my needs perfectly and eliminates the need for a basket on my bike. The water bottle holds approx. 16 oz of water and is great for pit stops. The pack is very roomy and has a clip for your latch keys. I also keep snacks, a map, pepper spray, cell phone, and money in my pack with lots of room to spare. It even has a spot that you can put your iPod and fish the earbud wire out of the pack. I'd buy this again.
